Hello, I'm considering having a wedding theme. I was thinking of a black and white classic wedding - with a long lasting marriage theme. People who have had long marriages have always inspired me and I want to honor the longest married couple at my wedding. I have all kinds of other ideas and I would appreciate any help. Is anyone planning on having a wedding theme?

but it sounds like a nice idea, I like the part about honoring the longest married couple. sounds like a fun thing to find out at the wedding!

If you want to have a black and white theme, I would suggest a damask theme! Very classy and you could add a hint of color if you decide you want to later on. This was my original theme!
I decided to go with a peacock theme because I wanted to add more color and it fit in perfectly with my RH.

i 2nd the damask - i love it! i def like the idea of honoring the oldest couple ~ our dj suggested we play a song and have the couples keep getting seated until the oldest one is left standing - sooo cute!

I'd like a theme so everything (decor, flowers, etc) makes sense. I know it sounds bizarre but I was thinking of modern vintage romance lol...doesn't really make sense but I don't want a whole vintage theme, but would like things to have a vintage flair

I did this at my first wedding instead of the bok and garter toss!!

I'm getting black and white photos of married couples attending the wedding and in my family who have passed to use either in a photo montage or around the room. I've seen them used with the place cards in a magazine and I loved how it looked!

I'm having a 5 de Mayo theme!!!! I'm incorporating a design in my invitations, table numbers, seating cards. Also I am having mariachis for my ceremony and cocktail hour.
