Wedding theme ? - xpost w/ NW

I was told my cousin's wedding is an art deco theme. I am ashamed to say, but I was like HUH? what IS THAT? I've heard the term but have NO idea what that is or looks like. I've kind of volunteered my services to help out with some of the little details - & am attempting to do petal cones & cry packs for my cousin. Has anyone had this for a theme or knows of someone who did & can post some pics to give me some ideas please? HEELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!

I wanted to try to add art deco details to my wedding but I found it sooooooo hard to figure out how to do it. Probably the best way is through the cake, and a lot of silver, deco-ish details, etc...I'll see if I can find some pictures.

One idea I had was to find little art deco frames to use as place card holders...but our budget started ballooning so I put that idea to the side.

the style of chatue briand is considered deco. its alot of gold and silver with geometric patterns. its usully used as an architectual term . that will be an interesting wedding theme.
