wedding timeline?

i've searched high and low for a wedding timeline online... meaning, it gives you a breakdown of the year before your wedding and what you are supposed to do at 8 months, 6 months, and then all the way down until like the day of!

now that i'm approaching the one year mark i wanted to look at this and start marking my calendar to make sure i'm on schedule.

anyone know a good site and can post link?? or post the actual list?? help!!!! TIA-- i appreciate it!!!!

I've also seen timelines in the back of magazines sometimes.

uh oh. Deep breath, turn away from the list for now. I've had this too, where I start getting stressed about all the things I still have left to do. Esp. with the crazy schedule I have the next 2 semesters with work, classes and internships.

What helped me so far, was seeing everything on paper. Doing everything in excel for payments, vendors being used, etc.. I also bought a wedding planner album(the one that comes with questions to ask vendors, etc. and it also has a 12 month calender in it. I prefer using this. I also try to do a little at a time, never too much at once. It helps.

Re: wedding timeline?

I really am NOT the person to ask about this because I now am almost at the 2 month mark, and I feel SO behind (even though I've been planning for a year and a half!!).

weddingchannel.com has a good one! They e-mail ME with things I should have done by now!

Also, I made my OWN to-do list as I thought of things. I think that's the best way to go. I posted it once on here. It's friggin' scary. If you do a search, you can probably find it, but if you do your own, you're probably better off. Use an 'official' checklist as your guide, but make your own to-do list on a spreadsheet so it's specific to you. That's what I did and what I would recommend. That way you don't forget any of your own personal touches!
