Wedding Timeline and a few other dumb questions?

Hi Ladies,
I have a few dumb questions since I am new to this:
1. Is anyone giving out a timeline? If so, when do give it out? The day of or in the invitation?

2. What is the unity candle? Is it used for a church wedding?

3. Is everyone getting toasting flutes?

4. Who is responsible for giving out your programs/cry packs at the church???????

5. When is the confettii/bubbles given out? Before of after the ceremony?????

Thanks ladies. I am new at this and I have only attended two weddings in my whole life!

1) I only gave the WP and parents a time line and I e-mailed it to them a week b4

2) the unity candle is a ceremony done during the wedding ceremony to symbolize the joining of your lives together. it is not limited to church ceremonies. there are also variations to this like we are doing a sand pouring ceremony.

3) I got toasting flutes I got nice silver ones...you can also get glass ones. pretty much what ever you like...you can usually get a set that has matching caker server

4) typically you assign someone to do this...it can be someone in the wp or one of the readers

5) confetti..I would giv eit out b4 when the programs are given out

1-i put a timeline in the invitation
2-unity candle is a little ceremony where eschof you lights the main candle - the two become one - can be done anywhere
3-yes, i have our own toasting flutes - most places will provide them for you if you do not have them
4-programs/cry packs can be given out by ushers, put on the sides in baskets and people take their own, or you can designate someone not in the wedding party to pass them out
5-confetti/bubles given out after the ceremony, usually when people are leaving the receving line

1. Im not sure what you mean, but I emailed the BP a timeline for the day of (like what time to be at my house, what time hair & makeup are coming, etc)
2. Yes, church wedding. Both bride & groom hold a candle and then light one big one. (two become one)

3. I am getting toasting flutes, my MOH go tthem for me

4. Im putting min in a basket at the entrance of the church....I suppose I can assign someone to give them out

5.I'm givning them out w/the programs (in the same basket)
