Has anybody heard anything about the Coral House in baldwin? I'm thinking of looking there to get married. I heard they recently did some nice renovations.
I had my rehearsal dinner in one of the smaller rooms and was very happy. It's so pretty inside, the food is great and the people who work there are so nice. It does have more than 1 function at a time so if that doesn't bother you, def go look.
My friend is getting married there in August. She has had a great planning experience so far.
i read one terrible review on here once & after that i'd never personally book there. I don't have any personal experience but after what I read there was no way id chance it.

I had an appointment to go with FH to take a look, but the people were very rude on the phone so we completely skipped it

You are right that places will have bad reviews here or there BUT this wasn't a bad review it was a TERRIBLE review. I would be very careful.

I was really excited to go look there until I did more research and found not so great reviews, as well as spoke to some people who knew the venue. Then again, it never hurts to look at it, just to see and make your own judgement.
Thank you all for your feedback. I actually went there tonight for there food tasting. All the bad posts I've seen were from 2 years ago or more so I figured can't hurt to taste food and see what they have to offer. I'm happy I did. There whole lobby was redone with a marble floor, piano in lobby, it looked so nice and the room they showed me for the reception with a a few touches can be what I want. I was also introduced to there in house event company, Dream. Food was very good, servers were great and Adam from Dream had some great ideas. It's definitely on my list of possible venues.
