I am torn whether to do a video or not.... I definitely do not want to spend a lot of money, and I don't want a very detailed video (baby pics, honeymoon pics etc) Who are using and around how much are they?? Thanks!

I am using Mark David Video...they are great...but if you are looking for a basic video with a good company for a cheap price I would looking in Rainbow Video. That is what they do. And they are trustworthy.

Re: Wedding Video - who r u using?
I was unsure about a video as well until a customer of mine brought up a good point. She said you're so crazed throughout the whole wedding-it's like a blur. She was so happy to have her video to see all the things she missed. I changed my mind and now am getting a video. I didn't want your typical wedding video and was very impressed with the samples I saw at Silverfox. I decided to use them for both video and photo. They have several different options for you to choose from-basic to more detailed. Good luck!

We were not going to get a video until we met with WILD ROSE. Their work is beautiful. I totally agree that the day is a blur and it is def worth getting a video.

Frank Ayala He is on The Knot I paid about $1000 for 3 dvds and the master tapes
I was unsure about the video at first too until I was talking to my best friend who got married 5 years ago. She was saying how fast the day goes and you dont remember anything but a blur and she wished she got a video to remember it all.
I booked Duet.

Classic Video Prpductions in Commack. Depending on what type of video you want (editing, features) the price varies. We were impressed with his work. FM me if you want more info. He is a vendor on here.

what is alot of money to you? i see you are getting married @ Oheaka... (oheaka = dream for me and most on this board)
I high recommend wild rose (1500-3000 - depending on package) regardless of the price. you can go to there website and see a recap of a oheaka castle wedding...
you are gonna regreat not getting video. most couples on here do.. and depending on who shots it, your not gonna use it just once... it would be played alot (wild rose vid's)
for the last part, you tell em what you want and what you dont want.
