Re: Wedding Vows?
We are writing them. FH was less than sentimental when he proposed and asked simply if I wanted a ring. I was upset by that because you can at least say something nice to me!

FH wants us to write them...so that's what we're doing...I'm nervous because I don't write 1/2 as well as he does

Haven't even thought about it......but I think I'd prefer the traditional otherwise it is too nerve wrecking and my emotions will already be running wild. Will have to discuss with FH to be sure.

Traditional... I'm going to have a tough time getting through them to begin with, so i think it'd be easier to be traditional. I know if i got personal with them (it would be nicer) but i'd be balling more.

Re: Wedding Vows?
were doing a mix of different traditional vows..there is just something amazing to me that there are these vows that people have repeated for hundreds of years for their wedding

Aw that's sweet!
Don't get me wrong the night was very romantic. I just thought he could have expressed himself. We joke around a lot but I told him his vows should be a little better than 'Hey Mel, want another ring!' He said he'd have to go back to the drawing board now! Like I said we joke around a lot and that's what I love about him. I just wish he was a little more sentimental at that moment. Well he can make up for it with the vows.

haha. thanks! I know I'll be such a wreck on the day because I get really giggly when I'm nervous...I'll just make it short and sweet so I'm not bumbling like a fool the entire time..
..sigh..the things we do for the men we love

Re: Wedding Vows?
I'd like to write my own vows but I also have no problem with saying the traditional vows.
FH is very shy with his feelings in front of other people (which I'm fine with) so we'll probably wind up going the traditional route....the last thing I want him to feel on our wedding day is uncomfortable.
