I want my FH and I to write our owns vows. The problem is remembering them! Can we write them down??!! Has anyone done this or seen this?

I have seen it but half way through both the bride and groom just spoke from the heart. It was kept simple and short but the love they words they exhanged will stick with me always.

Our officiant said she would hold our cards for us, so we don't have to worry about them. I was wondering where I would put them. It would look pretty funny if I reached down the front of my dress to pull notecards out of my bra!!

I have been wondering the same thing!
There's no way I will be able to memorize them, I'll ask the priest to hold mine....

My husband wrote our vows (he's a great writer and captures things much better than I do). We said the same thing to each other. Our rabbi had a copy of the vows and had us repeat a few words at a time to each other.
ETA: We also had 2 readings at our ceremony which our rabbi held onto and enlarged so it would be easier for my MOH and DH's sister to read them.

I never thought about having the officiant hold them!! I was thinking about sticking them in my BoK and pulling them out when we were ready but I was afraid they might fall out. I might ask my MOH to hold a folded up piece of paper in her hand. Too bad these dresses don't come with pockets!!!
