So I'm not into the throwing of things post church - flower pedals sound nice but I don't want to worry about clean up or get hit in the face w/ stuff - which will make for awesome pics.
I saw this idea on a brides review and did a little research into them - totally some thing that can be a DIY but trying to think if it will even save costs. I thought this was a pretty good deal.
I would only get one package - just for affect during pics.

Depending on what time your ceremony is you can always use sparklers (just make sure your guests haven't started drinking yet). I was at a wedding a few months ago where the bride & groom walked out of the church greeted by a slew of guests making a sparkler path for them to travel through, it was pretty neat.

I love them! I was actually looking at this exact site!! 50 in a pack is plenty! I know someone said well it depends on the weather and yadda yadda yadda, but so do all the other tosses whether it's rose petals or sparklers or anything like that. I say go for it!

i'm not sure how good it would look ... the ribbon won't really reach to the aisle so it might look a little silly.

I hate them! They don't exactly say 'timeless' in photographs.

I'm not a big fan of the wands. I prefer bubbles. I'm probably not going to have anything though.

The aisle? These are supposed to be for outside. And keep in mind, that you have to make these yourself so you could probably (I'm not sure if it's pre-cut, but if not) cut the ribbon to whatever size you wanted and just make less of them.

I would SOOO love to do this - since we are getting married Memorial Day weekend, i think its so fitting. But the church is at 2:30 so it will still be day light and we are looking for some thing to have after the mass. Thanks for the idea though!

I think this is a really nice idea and very unique! I'm sure your guests would love it.

oh oops well, i guess my thoughts apply to it being outside too though ... i just don't know how it'd look (especially in pictures) ... i could be wrong ... i just don't 'see it'
