wedding websites

You ladies all seem to be very wedding savy and know the best vendors.

My sister is getting married in October and we wanted to do a cute little website for her and her fiance. We are aware of theknot.com and ultimatewedding.com, those sites are okay, but we wanted to know if people could recommend other options. We would like to do this asap.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

My friend is a webmaster & builds really inexpensive pages-she started ours but I never finished it. I'll FM you her info if you'd like.

You can create simple websites using geocities.com

I did this for my friend after they were married last June. They really liked it and it was soooo simple.

Try THE WEDDING TRACKER

You can create your own wed-site . . .Your website address will be whatever your want. (IE:
bob-jill.com OR jill-bob.com OR jillandbob.com)

The possibilities are endless. It's free for 2 weeks so you can test the waters. Then it's 59.95 for a year. It's worth it. It also comes with wedding planning software so that you can keep awesome records of your gst list, gifts recieved, and a million other things.

I printed out our wed-site address on translucent paper and included them in the envelope with my save the date magnets. My friends and family are freaking out! They love it!!!

Another great site where you can create your own website is: Virtually Married

They have beautiful flash intros . . .but, I didn't like the mega long website address that you have to get. They're hard for your guests to remember.

Re: wedding websites

my fiance does websites for a living. I am sure he would love to do a freelance job for you. What exactly are you looking for? He just posted an engagement announcement of us. It took him about 45 minutes. Of course he would spend more time on yours. He would need to know how many pages you want and any info that would go on the site. If you want to FM me with the info, we can get a price estimate for you. We can probably do everything over the internet, throught e-mail, FM, and Pay Pal. Let me know if your interested. Thank You.
