Wedding Websites

Anyone paying for theirs? I know there are free ones, but did anyone decide one that cost money was worth it? Why?
i'm asking because I see a cute one, but it's 15 a month.

I am not paying for mine and I think it's pretty sweet looking. We can pick music to play and it has a flash intro.

Whats the catch? Do they have advertisements up on your page? can you send me a link to either your website or the general website so I can check it out? Thanks.

I'm using weddingwire and there are no ads. I really like it. N o downside so far. There's nothing I'd add that I'd want to pay for.

I think it's supported by the fact that vendors pay to be WW vendors ( just like vendors pay to be LIW vendors) so you can look them up and see them when you are using the other planning tools on the site

nope, not paying at all, I am using LIW site. Not that I have found anyone looking at it.

i am not paying for mine...i think its a waste because most people dont really look at it (or they look at it once).

We are using one through our MAC server. We pay for the server anyway, so it is free, I guess.

Re: Wedding Websites

we're using mywedding, it seemed the most user friendly and you can still get a good URL, the was our main concern and the only reason we were going to pay for one..

It was really simple to design and use but it looks really nice as if we really did it ourselves, no ad's either!
