Wedding Yesterday

I was just wondering if anyone had their reception at the Coral House yesterday afternoon. I was there with my FI for a fireman's holiday dinner and there was a wedding going on there too and I was just wondering if it was a liweddings.com bride.

Not me until next year, but did you enjoy yourself there, food, service, etc? How was the hall decorated?

I need to get out there to take another peek.

It was decorated for Xmas. It actually looked really great. The food was good for our party. This is the 3rd year that I have been going to the fireman's party at the Coral House and this year the food was the best (it was a buffet). The service I did not like, but that is just my opinion.

Don't worry ladies they treat buffets & weddings VERY differently as far as service goes! I used to date a fireman before my FH and we went to fireman's balls & functions and the service was always better at weddings, this went this way at several different halls we were at NOT just Coral House. That's JMO though.

When I went to the Coral House for a wedding- the service was excellent. Our table always had drinks we didn't have to get up to go to the bar at all, and if we asked for something the waiter brought it to us immediately. The only negative thing was that the waiter kind of hinted for a tip at the end of the night (we were going to tip him anyway). But I have never had a more attentive waiter, ever.

IMO, I did not like the service. Jenn is right. They treat buffets and weddings differently. I did not like the idea that there were tip cups on the bars. This is JMO.
