Re: weddings & debt
We have about $10k worth of stuff to pay for, not including our honeymoon. We decided that we can pay for everything without CC but the honeymoon would probably have to go on one, but at least when we return, hopefully the $$$ from the wedding will pay for that.

Re: weddings & debt
We don't want to accrue anymore debt than we already have and it stinks that we are putting off paying that debt off to pay for the wedding. I'm hoping though to pay this wedding off ASAP and then get on to paying off our debt. We are trying to keep our expenses low wherever we can.

As of right now though the only card i plan to use is my debit card for all of this, nothing else.
That's what we are doing too.

Re: weddings & debt
We arent planning to use credit cards at all. My parents are paying for most of the reception. Between work bonuses and tax returns I should be able to swing the other stuff. Which then I think...what is FH covering? LOL. I'm designtating the honeymoon and rehearsal dinner (his parents wont pay) for him to pay. I'm taking at least $100 a week from him for the next two years...and then more whenever he can spare it.
