True, but I bet their marriages are just as good as Long Island marriages, and that's what counts.

Almost every state outside of ny is very different when it comes to weddings...Just like it seems weird to us how they do it, it seems weird to them how we do it...Also its hard to compare prices for a wedding in ny and elsewhere...I know people who do have it at a nice place, and go all out in places outside of NY and they can even do exactly what we will do but it will still cost alot less.

Yeah I can understand that. But whenever I don't know how much to dress up for a party, I always say to myself, 'nothing wrong with being the best looking one in the room!'

I went to a wedding in italy and they wore jeans. I felt so over dressed.

But they do wedding very differently anywhere outside of NY

i know...people at work were like..wow you must be loaded..and im not at all..my parents just want to make sure its a perfect day..

not that you have to spend a lot of money to have it nice..but you owe it to your guests to treat them well

I totally agree.

NYers are a little nuts when it comes to events. I don't know about Kansas but I'm sure whatever u pick will be GREAT!
