Does anyone know if there are any parks on in the Tri-State Region where you can hold a ceremony and reception? Thanks
There is this great site in up-state NY. Its like this Eukranian camp ground. It sounds weird I know, but I saw it covered in a magazine a few years ago. There is a little outdoor chapel in the woods but I am not sure if they did a tent or if there was a hall. It was gorgeous. I'll see if I can find the info. I think it was in Victoria magazine a few years ago.
I'm not sure about receptions, but I know alot of towns allow you to have ceremonies in the town parks. You just have to get approval from the town. I just saw a wedding on the town dock in Northport. Anything is possible if you dig.
My Aunt had her reception at Eisenhower Park (a few years back) it is in Nassau somewhere but it was beautiful!!
