What was your first thought/reaction when you met your FH?
After talking through text for 2 weeks and a few times on the phone, my FH met up with me late one Saturday Night after he got out of work. I was at a local bar with my gf. The minute he walked in I turned to my friend and said wow, i am going to marry that man one day lol. I had seen pictures but they can sometimes be deceiving LOL. My initial reaction was based on his looks but then as I got to know him more and more I realized everything about him was what I had always been looking for.

FH and I were a blind date so I wasn't expecting much going into it. He insisted on picking me up at my house and when I opened the door I thought 'he's not so bad, I'll give this a try' Went for dinner and drinks and were dating exclusively shortly after. According to FH he knew when he picked me up and I went back to the bathroom to fix myself one more time that I was into him! They think they know it all Between us...it was after the 4th date he REALLY got me!

When I first met FH, I thought that he was really sweet and shy which he was.. I thought he was really sweet though. I gave him a shot and five and half years later I will be marrying him. I did not think that would happen.

I first met FH at our college's freshman orientation. I remember meeting him and thought he was cute and that he had a great smile. I knew I wanted to get to know him better...

I thought 'wow, he is really handsome!' and then he told me how old he was and I didn't know what to do! He was confident and wonderful to talk to but I was totally freaked out that he was in his late 30s. (I was 24 at the time!)
I got over the age difference pretty quickly though!
