Has anyone ever gone to one of those teas that they advertise on here under 'shows'? Were they fun? informative? waste of time?

Re: Wednesday Night Teas
Yes - they seem to be at different halls on Wednesday nights. Is it like a show case or something?

Like a tea party? We went to a tea party at Chateau Briand and it was fun and helpful. It's helpful if you don't have any vendors booked yet.

What was it like? I'm actually really surprised that I have never seen anyone post about it here before. Did they give some sort of presentation or could you walk around?

Re: Wednesday Night Teas
The one I went to at Chateau Briand you had to register before hand, but I think you were able to show up day of. They had a presentation about PWP (peferred wedding planners) and all their vendors. They had tea and sandwiches and cookies. Then they gave out a prize. Then they had some of their preferred vendors there and they had samples of their work.

Re: Wednesday Night Teas
I just went to the tea party last night.. it's cute, they give you tea, and mini sandwhiches, choclate covered strawberries, italian cookies etc..it will ruin a bridal diet lol but well worth it lol - The tea party was quite long, the first half your sitting and listening to the wedding planner who is a young , upbeat fun girl.. def interesting to hear! they give you a folder with lots of coupons, suggested vendors, etc.
- They do a raffle the moment you enter the vendor room and everyone's a winner...noone is pushy which is good except for the limo company, I didn't like.
- The fox hollow had their reccomended florist from platinum weddings. They also had this wedding jewlery designer called thomas knoll from 'say yes to the dress' which was helpful.
Its good to go , I got plenty of Ideas and information, and it's a great way to relieve stress and get the wedding planning going.
