Happy Hump Day ladies!!! The work week is *almost* over
today's QOTD stems from a conversation FH and I had last night.
'What is your 5 year plan after your wedding? House? Kids? Career change? Dish it ladies!
-After the wedding, we are hoping FH grandmother's house that we are selling is sold at the point, and we can move into a townhouse or apartment. We want to finish paying off our debt, and get our credit score a little higher before we buy a house. We want to move off the island within 5 years, and I'm hoping to open up my own home-based daycare center, and FH wants to go to technical school to become a certified electrician. We want to wait atleast a year or 2 before having kids although I wouldn't mind a HM baby .

Yea, that's where our priorities are!! LOL
We want to pay off all of our student loans. We plan on living in our house for a while so we're in no rush to move. We REALLY want to travel. And are planning our vacations for the next couple of years.
Kids aren't really in the cards for FH and I. We're not the 'Kid' people, but who knows? Things may change!
Right on, sista, I agree! haha I think we do want kids eventually, but within 5 years kinda freaks us both out. We really are concentrating on fixing up our current house to re-sell, buying a bigger one (that I'm sure will need work) and getting a dog.

id like to start having kids at the 4/5 year mark maybeeee lol
I hope to be done with my masters and teaching PA school this way I have a better schedule for a mommy!
and hopefully a house!
we already have 2 little fur babies! if we get the house then we want a 3rd- a bigger dog that FH can train and stuff-we have 2 chihuaha's now

We are planning on moving to a new house (we live in my house now and want one that is 'ours') In 5 years we are hoping all our kids will have great jobs and be on their own so we can have the house to ourselves. We want to do a lot of traveling and see the world! .... and maybe have a grandchild

I wanna have a baby right away, I will be 31 when we get married and time is a ticking. We also plan on buying a house the year after the wedding and then hopefully I will be able to actually get a teaching job and put my college degree to work!

Well we have our house, and I already have my son, who will be graduating high school the same month we're getting married. My FH does not want any kids, so that is fine with me. It's been my son and I for so long, I don't think I want another anyway. Not sure what our 5 yr plan, is, maybe continue on the blessed road we've been on?

Let's seee 5 years... Well we are hoping to have a house before the wedding, and well both be working FH will have just finished college, but no kids for a whileee I don't think, if ever, so cliche but I wanna focus on my career and currently I can't even imagine having kids ( mostly because of the wierd body changes haha) so our onlt big change will be FH's career, he gets out of the military soon and willl be goin to school so hopefully in 5 years well be rakin in the dough haha.

I love that so many of you have get a puppy or dog on here! My dog is my kid.
I already own a house. I hope we'll finish our renovations that have been ongoing for 10 years lol. Sell it and move to a big colonial in nassau.
Have a baby :)
And im playing around w the idea of getting a masters in environmental engineering which is a complete career change.
