Weekend Checks: Hair & Headpiece
I had such a productive wedding weekend!
Went for my hair trial at Lush Salon in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Stephanie, who is one of the owners, did my hair and I am not kidding when I say she got the look I was going for PERFECTLY. Like I would not change a single thing!
Since my hair was all done from the trial, I decided that I wanted to go immediately to purchase my headpiece. Its so hard do choose when you have the headpiece on with your hair in a pony tail, so to try to get some use out of the trial, I went to go try on headpieces so I can get a better idea of what it will look like with my updo. So I chose and ordered my headpiece and veil at Bridal Styles in Brooklyn. I had gone there once before alone and narrowed it down to a few I liked (they are all so amazing, its so hard to choose). Went back with my mother and BM on Saturday and ended up getting the one that I liked the most on the first visit. See pics below of my hair, headpiece and veil (veil will be in ivory though...also my hair wasn't 'salon perfect' by the time these photos were taken because I'd tried on, and taken off, a dozen headpieces!)
