Yes i agree Lake George is good...I also always wanted to go to Saratoga...friends who have went raved about it

Ive never been either..I checked into it..we are trying to go somewhere over memorial day..but cant make up our minds...what is there to do in Saratoga?? Can anyone tell me??

Sunny, we are trying to go somehere we havent ever been..but great places that I CAN reccommend to you are Toronto, Jim Thorpe, PA, Philadelphia ( our very favorite), Ocean City, MD, Atlantic City, Niagara...

It is a beautiful old town with a lot of B n' B's..Old mansions. Great shopping, great food and the race track. My mom goes every year when the racing season starts..Which isn't until the end of July, which is VERY expensive to go then. I might go this year. If you want more info let me know i will ask for more details

We just booked our mini-honeymoon in Cape Cod. There are tons of really cute places to stay and it seems like there's lots to do.

I loved Jim Thorpe, went there a few years ago to go mountain biking and fell in love with the town. You would never know all that history by the name. To answer your question, Cape Cod is really nice...I did a couple of long weekends there when I was single. You can stay in a town like Falmouth, Martha's Vineyard is a 45 minute ferry ride away and it's really nice. I would also recommend Block Island, that might be a bit of a trip for you guys though since you would have to come around from Jersey. You could go to Montauk and take the ferry from there though.- Enjoy, whatever you decide to do!!

we went white water rafting in Jim Thorpe, that place is gorgeous, surrounded by mountains..they call it Little switzerland I think, but not alot of nighlife..a few bars, actually I think two or three to be exact..but a great beautiful place to relax and do out doorsy things!

we went to dc spur of the moment last oct. got a great rate on a fantastic boutique hotel. went to some great rest. and toured the museums. it was wonderful and only a 4.5/5 hour drive. we are going to go to boston this year.
also we just recently took the seajet from orient to mohegan sun for the day. it cost $25 roundtrip and they gave us a $10 lunch voucher and 2 free passes on a gambling wheel of which we won $20. so all in all it was free. except for the gambling
also, newport is great! i think it offers a lot of different things. if you want nightlife it's there. if you want mansion tours it's there.
