Weekend plans!

i'm going to live vicariously through all of you who are doing fun things.

i'll be planning, doing report cards, placing book orders, grading, getting things together for parent teacher conferences and working on our class play. and looking for curtains and maybe coloring my hair.

i feel horrible saying this but i'm glad dh will be working b/c then i won't feel like i'm missing out on doing something but i'll miss him!

Tonight I have a Penn State Alumni Abroad function, so it should be interesting, will get me out of the house a bit!

tomorrow we have to go buy a new toilet seat - ours is broken and I keep nagging DH to fix it! Then tomorrow night I have to go to a dance show for work.

Sunday is mother's day in the UK, so we're having my MIL over for 'sunday lunch'

I've got nothing... except babysitting. It's spring break this week, but I'm student teaching, so most everyone (including fh) is going home...

And all the girls in my program are going away for the weekend too.

So, I rented 3 cheesy girly movies that no one else wants to see but me, and will be planning all weekend. My only interaction with people will be with a 4 year old boy tomorrow night.

I'm going to the big St. Patrick's Day party in Hoboken tonight and will get back on Sunday morning. I've never been, but it sounds like fun!

DH can sympathize with you. He'll be grading papers as well and we'll be away in Long Island too. About 3 weeks ago My friend and her husband invited us to stay with them for the whole weekend. They live in Melville. Last night DH came home with homeworks to grade, and he felt bad cancelling but feels worse that he has to bring his work along and now he feels like a party pooper cuz he thinks it will ruin everyone's fun because he has work to do... he knows that my friend had a couple of things planned for us to do.

I told him not to worry and that she will understand and will give him time to do his work. Maybe we can all do something early in the morning/afternoon and then she and I can go shopping while DH does his work and her husband can relax as well, since he's been on so many business trips the last 2 weeks. These are very good friends and understanding people, they are not unreasonable. Plus by nightime DH will join us for board games, it's not like he won't be doing anything with us.

Sunday is DH's b-day, so we're going to his parents in Wantagh and going out to dinner. Other than that, we have no plans. I need to catch up on schoolwork.

ETA: For his b-day gift, I just ordered tix to see one of the space shows at the Hayden Planetarium. Brad loves astronomy. So now we're going to go to the Museum of Natural History tomorrow and to the show. I think he's going to love it!

Iam working all weekend and then attempting to write the first chapter for my thesis...such a procrastinator

tonight: food shopping, pizza with DH, coffee with cousin
tomorrow: taking grandma (in law) shopping to buy fabric, she's making me den curtains. Time Warner is coming between 2-6, and then either babysitting my nephew or having dinner with my grandfather who didn;t make it to my wedding. It's up in the air right now.
Sunday: wake & babysitting again? not sure.

Saturday: Registering! Very excited... and then going to Grandmas and Grandpas for Chicken Parm. mmmm....

Sunday: Working my second job, but i love it.

Tonight - nothing really..laundry, straightening up, getting eyebrows waxed
Sat.- going to massachusetts with two friends from College for my friends bridal shower
Sunday - coming home from massachusetts..visiting dh's grandma in the hospital and preparing for my wedding album/video meeting on Monday..

Tonight: Dh still recovering from flu, me from a bad cold! Watching Ray on DVD.

Tomorrow: Going to David's Bridal to get BM dress for SILs wedding...Dragging DH so going to eat at Cheesecake Factory so he doesn't think it is a wasted trip!

tomorrow: work 6:45AM til noon, then some schoolwork, then poker night w/ FH and a few other couples.

sunday: wanna go see Be Cool - matinee of course, 'cause I hate spending $10 on a movie ticket!

Saturday: DH is going into the city to college bball game, I think I'm returning stuff to the mall & Costco

Tonight we have tickets to Stars on Ice (they were a birthday gift from my ILs) I am excited, DH is being a good sport!
Tomorrow we have to get a christening gift and Dh will probably be painting!
Sunday is my godaughters christening!
