Weekend Plans???

Weekend Plans???

This weekend I am seeing Borat, eating at Panera and tomorrow night is Taco night. Could life be any more grand? Oh and I convinced DH that we should get another cat - haha! Sucker! Although not until we are in the new house.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Re: Weekend Plans???

I requested a cheap romantic night with dh tonight. I will try to get him to cook me dinner and then we might watch one of the Netflix movies we have sitting in our apt forever.

I have school all day tomorrow, after that I think I may work on the living room again. We are getting new furniture and re-doing it all - I still need to prep.

Since Bride of Jan never came to rake my leaves, I still have to do that too. And I am having a laundry crisis. I have to wash some stuff. DH is down to the reserves.

Overall, a depressingly old folkish weekend where I can't spend any money.

eta - I also have to start writing 2 papers for school.

I haven't really figured it out yet. I have nothing planned except for food shopping tonight, renting a movie.

DH is going to a friend's to watch football on Sunday. I'll have so much time to myself and there are a lot of things I could do with it.

But I just don't feel like it. I need initiative.

Somewhere in between I need to grade papers and then average them all and input it into my districts computer for report cards

Re: Weekend Plans???

I had an unplanned attack of drunken visitors last night around 8 - which led to an uplanned night of margaritas and manic laughter. Was fun except that it led to an unplanned morning of tummy trouble... ugh..

Today my FH is going to my bosses house to assemble bosses BowFlex that my boss will subsequently never use. I was supposed to go with BUT bosses kids got strep and now I don't have to go. Although I am NOT happy that the kiddies are ill... I am pleased that I can now sit home and watch the SpongeBob Squarepants Best Day Ever Marathon and Movie that we taped yesterday.

And although Sunday's are usually reserved for eating dinner at FH's parents house, they have a birthday party for an octagenarian neighbor that they must attend so I am free tomorrow evening and will likely spend it curled up on the couch reading one of the stack of books that I have piled up and waiting - and MAYBE even get some Christmas shopping in.

I made corn bread that I'm not allergic to - my first bread or muffin type of food in two months!
I'm making carrot free tomato soup.
I don't like being an adult today because I haven't left the kitchen.

Once the soup is done: workout and BORAT

Tallie: I probably couldn't rake your leaves anyway because I need smaller rakes. No, seriously - some are just too long.
