Weekend Plans???

What's everyone's plans for the weekend?

This is my first hardcore weekend of wedding gown shopping. I've looked around but now I'm bringing mom and I'm ready to make a purchase (or at least find 'THE dress'!!!).

Saturday:
Bridal Reflections (CP)
Macy's (Manhasset) - to try on 3 faves I found in the city

Sunday:
Kleinfelds

Monday:
Pronovias!

I've been to Kleinfelds also but Pronovias was my fave...maybe because I purchased there.

Enjoy the experience....bring your camera, some of these guys will let you take photos.

I never heard of pronovias. A new place to go to now! I'm also in the middle of trying to find a gown. It's touch. I just want it to be over. Is that bad of me?

Now that the weather is going to be crep-ola, I highly doubt I'm doing anything, nor will I get to see FH.

So if that ends up being the case, then I'm just going to get a head start on my doctor mandated vacation

Hung out with FH tonight
Tomorrow- holiday get together with my mom, sis, son, FH, sis GF and my aunt. they wont be here for Xmas
Sunday- relaxing watching xmas movies and NOT DOING A THING

Pronovias is a brand, you can find some of their dresses at other bridal salons, but they have their flagship store in the city which opened in March. I got my dress there too. Their dresses are beautiful.

If you don't get a dress there at least go there for the experience.

I went into the city that day and went to Klienfelds, Saks, and Pronovias. I had already been to 4 stores out on the island including Bridal Reflections. Pronovias not only had my perfect dress, they treat you like a queen. They have a personal shopper greet you at the door and then sit you down at a table to look at the books and pick out the dresses you like. Then they bring you up to a beautiful, large room with flattering lighting and curtains all around. They offer you and your party champagne, water or coffee. Then one by one they bring dresses in for you, and hold them open for you to step in. Then they leave you be while you admire yourself and take pictures of them, before bringing the next dress in. They never rush you, I spent 2 1/2 hours there deciding between two dresses. And they have sample dresses in almost every size, so you are not trying to squeeze into a dress to small and at most they are clipping it down one size. Its the most pleasant experience at a bridal salon by far. My mom said it reminded her of the kind of service you got back when she looked at dresses.

I am decorating my family Christmas tree and painting my den. Then hopefully starting to take apart the falling down cabinets in our kitchen. Not an exciting weekend before Christmas, but a productive one.

Also hoping to meet up with a friend for lunch tomorrow.

Nothing is so to speak 'planned'... but it's my brothers last weekend here till he moves to North Carolina... so we are just hanging out with him these last few days. I will hopefully figure out my monogram and start my aise runner... LOL. I'm almost done with my cake topper and I just finished the WE DO letters. We are waiting for some people to come over...and I am in a massive cleaning mode. HAHA. That's my weekend...Yay fun...note the sarcasim! LOL

we have nothing wedding related this weekend

tomorrow if we can get out of the parking lot i'll bring my daughter and the neighbor kids to michales to the kids craft hee hee they are decorating gingerbread men
and i gotta pack all our crap to go to LI
i have 1 of FH's army duffel bags packed with all the wraped gifts 3 more suit cases to go
