weighing invitations question

i brought in a invitation so i could go to the post office at lunch and have it weighed.

do i have to have the people weigh it at the counter or can i use their little machine and do it myself?

square envelopes have an extra charge so you might as well be safe and let them weigh it and figure out the total cost

better safe than sorry

i'd go to the counter and have them weigh it. also make sure you're going to the post office you're going to be mailing your invites from. some post offices tell you one thing while another tells you something entirely different

i totally understand

can you take an early or late lunch one day to do it? the lines shouldn't be as long at 'off peak' times

i would definitly have the people at the window weigh it. i weighed it at work, and it said 78 cents. at the post office it said 1.22 because its of something or another they told me.

sooooooooo be safe and just have em weigh it for u.
