Re: weight loss
go to the gym...after a sweaty work out, you will be less likely to eat something fattening.
If you are a drinker (like me ) maybe you can alot yourself only one night a week for cocktails

One of the success stories on the WW website had a great, funny quote
It was something like
'Write it all down. Jesus knows what you ate and so does weight watchers'
Also, be active every day (I suck at this)
Keep fresh fruit on hand at all times. Like within arm's reach.

Re: weight loss
Definitely write down everything u eat and drink and also try and eat a lot throughout the day instead of 3 big meals. I find when I make sure I eat a snack or two in between meals I don't get as hungry and scarf down my meals. Definitely helps me to eat slower and keeps me energized. I usually snack on fruits- fills you up!

Re: weight loss
My sisters are on WW and the stories they come home with are so funny. (nibble it you scribble it) I don't need to lose weight but i love the way i feel when i workout and for me i always think well i know it suxs to workout 5/6 days a week but id rather do it now then have to worry about figuring out how im going to get whatever amount of pounds off of me.
When im working out and don't feel like it (or if im running and im like ughhhh 10 more mins?) I tell myself stop being a pus and run. One of the things i learned from a kickboxing class was that it takes 30 seconds for your body to recuperate. So when your feeling tired stop for a sec and keep going!! Yes i get your tired but you can rest later.
Even if your just starting to workout you can break up your workouts so its not sooo much all at once. For example i go to the gym in the AM for my leg workouts bc i don't have those machines at home. At work i do squats lol (if my boss leaves i get in the rest of my thigh workouts) .. you can even do pushups against the wall or sink. When i get home i do the rest of my workouts.. cardio, abs, arms
hope something in here helps you

Drink a cup of water before every meal.. it fills you up so you dont fill up on more than you have to.

Re: weight loss
I'm always here if you need fit tips, I'm a fitness nut.
Not only write down what you eat, keep track of the calories. Make sure you burn more calories than you eat.
You should eat 5 times a day. Eat slow. When you eat fast, your body doesn't have time to realize it's full.
You can do workouts wherever you are. Squats, lunges and squat jumps are get calorie burners.
Losing weight is about diet and excerise. If you don't eat healthy, you won't be as sucessful or toned as you could ideally be.
Have fun at zumba, it's awessssome.

Re: weight loss
I drink lots of water throughout the day and always keep healthy snacks handy. A granola bar, piece of fruit, yogurt if I'm at work or someplace it can be kept cold. So it's the tiny meals but more often kinda thing.

lol i worked with a girl who always drank these HUGE glasses of diet coke and then complained when the boss said you look a little thicker.. we all died laughing - (she's not a serious person and wasn't getting bigger) later that day i found a mag that said the same thing about her diet soda.
