Definitely WW...I've been losing a pound a week and not depriving myself at all.

I do the online because my insane work schedule prevents me from being able to get to meetings-BUT when you do it online you have to be really honest with yourself when tracking your food & exercise intake, and weight.

I know tons of people who went to meetings and did the weigh ins and LOVED IT.

It's really the best most realistic diet out there.

With all honesty!! My StepMom did the 'Beyonce Diet' as I call it... She lost 15 pounds in a week!!!

Its water, syrup, grapejuice (I think) ... She was religiously drinking that for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even when she was thirsty!! It worked!! I reccommend it.. She didnt taste food for a whole week but she got her goal and she didnt suffer (just the first day!!)....

Where do you live???? My kickboxing gym has a 10 week program that I have seen people get crazy results from. It is a diet and exercise program. Its intense but it really works.

Re: weight loss help

For 3 months before my wedding, I saw a personal trainer 2x a week,a nd did cardio myself 2x per week.

She also put me on what I called the Nazi diet, but it worked.

No processed foods - none whatsoever.
No white carbs
No cheese
No sugar
No Alcohol (I know.... that ******!)

That doesn't sound too restricting, but it is, especially cutting out the processed foods.

I ate a lot of greek yogurt with fruit, a lot of protein, sweet potatoes.

I found lunch to be the hardest because I used to have a frozen meal for lunch - she said it was the enemy - she was right, I really saw a difference when I cut those out. I ate salads with protein, chinese food steamed, sushi with brown rice alot.

She said if I am perfect all week, I can have 1 cheat meal a week, where I can eat and drink whatever I want.

I was only doing it for 3 months, if you are doing it for a year, you can be a little easier on yourself, but honestly, once you get into the groove of this, it becomes easier... I missed my cocktails more than anything, and that is what I cheated with the most.

You can do it - ultimately, whatever plan you choose, if you stick to it, it will work!

Honstly, I would see a nutritionist. I've known friends that have went, and they really help alot because they give you a personalized diet. Sometimes your insurance will even cover it.

I'm VERY partial to WW, as I work for them. It really is the healthiest way to lose weight. And if you lose a pound a week for a year, that's 52 pounds!

If you did it before and you felt like you were eating too much, then chances are you weren't using the points properly. Did you go to meetings or do it online? If you have questions, feel free to FM me.

Re: weight loss help

HI,

I still push Jenny Craig- because it does work. they have a short term and a long term program. the short term is good if you don't have the much to lose or your worried about commiting right away to something your not sure you're going to like. the food is really good- much better than nutrisystem i've heard.
I know people who have done jenny and WW and have said that jenny has more structure where as WW gives you more freedom, but it's easier to slip up. there is no thinking involoved with jenny which is why i like it and also for those nights when i work late.
HTH
Good Luck!
