Re: weight loss help
I went to a nutritionist and lost 15lbs in 2 months and I'm still losing. I only needed to lose about 20lbs overall...so I'm almost at my goal and intend on being there in only 3 months total. It's really just a healthy lifestyle and not hard to follow. It doesn't feel like a diet. Well worth it!
FM if you want her info!!!!!

Re: weight loss help
Ok, last Fall I was GIANT is all I can say. I weighed 225 lbs at 5 foot 9 inches. And I knew I needed to drop the weight but I needed something to help me do it so I did Jenny Craig. I lost about 35lbs in maybe 3 months - it was quick. But I stuck to it and went through lazy bouts and tough bouts and am now down over 50 lbs and am getting married in 3 weeks. You need to find the thing for you. I will say JC worked because I liked my girl who was my counselor - I looked forward to seeing her each week. And she made me avoid bad stuff because I didn't want her to be disappointed. I also rejoined NY Sports Club and a month ago got a trainer to give me training. I want to look the best I can look on June 19th and I know I can now. Commit to a program you can do and you will be good to go!!! Feel free to FM me. My biggest advice whatever you do is this...if you break down, have a bad day/night - eat 500 things. Stop. Enjoy it. And the next day move on. THe best thing I ever did was stop KILLING myself over mess ups. A good break here and there is a good thing. Enjoy it and move on. Good luck to you

When I was first diagnosed in 1999 with diabetes, I had to lose weight. I was given a diabetic exchange list, but really what worked for me was sticking to 1200 calories a day. Now it's true I gained weight again, but I'm doing 1200 calories again, and have gone from 170 to 146, since Jan. I plan to go down to 125/130. The hard part is keeping it off!!!!! Mary MOB
