So I just called my bridal salon and they said my dress will be in, in April, they don't have an exact date yet but soon!!!!
So here's my question, I ordered the size smaller b/c I was in between 2 sizes and if I went with the bigger size they were gonna charge me an extra 20%!! So I ordered the smaller size and need to lose 2 inches off my hips.
How does that convert to pounds? I need to lose some more weight b4 the fitting. Any good excerise tips to lose weight off the love handles???
I am already down 7 pounds...

Re: Weight loss question
well sometimes you dont lose the weight but you lose the inches maybe you should measure to see if you are down those 2 inches.

Re: Weight loss question
When I lost my weight (almost 50 pounds ) I dropped a pant size with generally every 10-15 pounds.

Re: Weight loss question
the best things to flatten tummy and trim the waist (love handle-ish area) are:
1. planks and side planks
2. leg lifts or lay on ground n do leg extensions one leg at a time (less intense than leg lifts) (for the bottom pouch area lol)
3. twisting at waist w/light weights in ur hands (stand w/ feet shoulder width apart, punch across your body - right hand punch to left - i do like 100- 50 each side) or hold hands down to ur sidew/weights in them, and then dip to each side, so ur fist is in line w/ ur knee i do about 100 of these too, per night (i use 3 lb weights for that)
if u want more details about numbers 1 n 2, lemme kno, i dunno what people are familiar with what exercises

Re: Weight loss question
oh and some key foods to help trim waist is during the day u need to have low fat dairy (eat low fat yogurt at breakfast or for a snack)
and almonds! if u like them, a handful of them throughout the day everyday is a great waist trimmer!!!

Re: Weight loss question
there is this website you can go to ((not sure right now, ill have to find it)) but you put in your height, weight, gender, and age...then, based upon this it tells you approximately how many calories a day your body naturally burns... then, you eat 500 calories less than whatever that number is..also, drink half the amount of water in ounces as your body weight...for example, if you weight 100 pounds, you drink 50 oz of water a day..
my friend is doing this, she has lost 9 pounds since march 4

Re: Weight loss question
you have to look up exercises for your lovehandles.. like russian twists or whatever they're called.. also i'd look into getting one of those stretchy bands to do hip abduction and adduction exercises for your hips
do cardio before you work out! get your heart rate up to burn fat

I agree. I'd also add Pilates to that! I love both. Can't wait to start up again. Have you ever tried Hot Yoga?

with this designer, anything over a size 12 is 20% more, some designers charge it and some don't, i think its ridiclous.
