Weight Watchers

Hey ladies - I have been reading your posts for a few days and you guys have motivated me. I started following weight watchers yesterday. I didn't join but my FMIl belongs and gave me all her books and I read through them and am going to try and do the plan my own! My wedding is in 4 months and I want to lose about 20 lbs. It is not as hard as I though because I can eat whatever I want in moderation.

Does anyone have any advice? Is anyone elses doing weight watchers?

This is what I ate so far today:

Breakfast - 1 cup raisin bran=3pts
1 cup 1% milk=2pts

1 lite string cheese=1pt
2 cups salad
with 3/4 cup white meat chicken=4 pts
balsamic vinegar and drop of oil=1pt

I plan on having 10 mini whole wheat pretzels this afternoon= 3pts

For dinner I will probably have a ww meal=6pts

Thanks girls!

Re: Weight Watchers

Hi! I'm a fellow WW girl!!! I LOVE it, however, I've lost motivation for the past two weeks Going to get weighed tonight... not looking forward to it!

I don't have any advice! But you'll see how exciting it is when the scale just keeps saying you weigh less and less and less! it's a great feeling!!!

OH here's a tip - I go EVERY monday night at 7.... I feel that if you weigh yourself the same day at around the same time, it absolutely helps a great deal! Good luck!

As for tips-- I agree that you should WI the same time each week--the best part of doing it at home you can WI without clothes!!!
There are tons of websites with points info
www.dwlz.com being one that has tons of retaurants and just different types of food-- I also use the boards on weightwatchers.com--great tips on there as well--just not organized great
Good luck
