Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers

Is any one doing the new weight watchers? With the fruit and veggies being 0 points its impossible to eat all your points! I was 5 under yesterday and i'm 12 under today even with my dinner! I haven't eaten any of my AP's I'm not eating bread/rice/pasta right now so i think that might be why I'm so under. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Weight Watchers

I am doing the new Points Plus program. I have not eliminated bread/rice/pasta because for me that is not a realistic way to live (everyone is different). With that being said I have been choosing more protein then carbs. I have been able to eat my points each day.

Wow I've been slightly over my points everyday, but i'm just getting back in the swing of things. And I stil have some of the additional and activity points left.

My problem is they never have fresh vegetables here, we JUST got a shipment today and we didn't have some for over 2 weeks so I stocked up on Spinach and cauliflower bc they've never carried it before, and broccoli and peppers... we don't have a wide selection so we take what we can get.

The cashiers thought it was hilarious how happy I was.

Hi!

I have been doing WW since the summer and I love the new Points Plus! I feel like I'm making better choices, and that I'm eating more then usual- and I'm actually loosing!!! I am eating a lot of peanut butter- my favorite (which I wasn't eating before because it was too many points!) That helps reach points because it's 5 for 2 tablespoons.

Good luck!!!

Re: Weight Watchers

I started last week so I'll find out Sunday how well I did.. but I feel like I'm eating more fruit since its free and don't look for the snacks that do have points now. I think its a better way of eating, just a little getting used to the new point values.

I was under my points 3/6 days this week.. but im learning to forece myself to eat more now because I can. I just try to avoid the flex points to keep the weight loss moving.

I'm trying to adjust to the new points this week. I love that the fruits are free because I would stay away from a lot of fruits because I felt the points were too high!

Here's a silly question, but I always like to see how other people work WW....What is a typical day's menu for you??

Re: Weight Watchers

I usually have a yogurt or WW egg sandwich for breakfast. I usually have a bigger meal at lunch and use a lot of my points on that. Normally I have a very light meal at night. I usually do not get home until 8ish and I do not like eatting so much that late.

I usually bring snacks with me to work so that I am not tempted by the candy jar, oreos, ritz craxkers, twizzlers, etc (I am not kidding that is always in the kitchen at work) that are around.

I usually start off with honey nut cheerios with 1/2 cup skim milk and now a banana (yay for 0 point fruit!). I'll have a yogart mid morning for a snack. For lunch I'll either bring a smart ones or make a turkey sandwich on light bread with honey mustard. I usually have some pretzels or 100 cal packs and fruits for snacks. Dinner is either another frozen meal or baked chicken or something like that. I def load up on the steamed veggies.

My latest snack has been a piece of laughing cow cheese on the special k wheat crackers. Really good and you get a lot of them so I feel like I'm eating a lot of them.

Crashing!

Are you meeting your good healthy guidelines (ghg). That could bring you up to eating all your points.
