Do you use your flex points all of the time? I haven't been using all of them and my friend told me if I don't use them, my weight loss will be slower.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
I have been doing flex since January and have lost 30 pounds since then. I always use my daily points and the additional 35 each week and have only had two weeks where I gained a little. On those weeks I had gone over the 35...way over since I was on vacation. My leader had told us the same thing about using up all of your points and it helping with weight loss. A few weeks ago I even lost 2 and a half in one week and felt like I had ate a lot that week including a big cheeseburger and pizza. Gotta love WW.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
Sometimes I come close to using all of them, and other weeks I don't I haven't gained any weight at all since I began and didn't notice it having any relationship to how many Flex points I used. My BM who is a lifetime member did tell me I should use all of my daily points every day to keep up the weight loss. She used to save her flex points for drinking on the weekends.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
i use my daily 20 pts almost every day, some days (rare) im at like 18 or 19 and dont eat any more. I basically never use any of the additional 35 per week. Ive only ever used a point or two of that per week. i just dont feel like ill lose if i use additional pts, but thats just me.

I rarely use the additional points either, but it sure is hard not to...

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
I always eat my flex points and most of my activity points - I've lost 85 pounds so far, so it's working for me. I pic of my progression in my profile.
Your body does get used to what you give it, so if you skip the flex points now, when you get down to your ideal range you may not be able to eat them then without gaining - I'm not sure if I explained that right.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
I've been doing this plan since January, and have done OK, but have hit a plateau that I can't get out of. I'm still eating healthy, much smaller amounts than I used to, and working out a lot. I know I'm not in my ideal weight range yet, so my body isn't telling me to stop losing. Any suggestions on how to break out of this rut?

Wow Nina! that's awesome! I'm going to keep that in mind as I start back on WW this week.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
I've been on it since February. Sometimes I use my flex points and sometimes I don't. I haven't noticed a difference in my weight loss and I haven't gained at all. So I don't think it matters.

I'm not sure. I kind of had that problem the last couple of weeks. So this week I changed up my workout routine a little. I'll let you know if it helped. I weigh in on Monday. I think with the warmer weather, I may also be retaining more water.

Re: Weight Watchers Flex Ladies?
I've hit a few plateaus along the way.
I tend to eat the same things all of the time, I'll have oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast everyday for months!!! - some salad for lunch and a lean dinner. I found that changing what I was eating helped break me out of my plateau. I mix up my menu more, some days I'll have cereal, other days I'll have an egg beater omelet.
Another thing that has helped is varrying my point intake, instead of sticking to my regular points every day, I'll use a bunch of flex or APs one day and then none another - if I keep things too much the same my body easily falls into plateaus
HTH!
