...what exercises did you do to supplement your weight loss?
I can't afford a gym membership, so will a 30 minute walk every day help? Or should I be doing something more?

Re: Weight Watchers girls...
I would maybe try and take two 30 min walks if you could. IDK if you lose wight easily or not, but, if it's hard for you to lose like it is for me, you'll need to exercise more.

I was in the same boat ... no extra $ for a gym membership.
My mom and FMIL helped me buy an eliptical machine. It was $400 on sale.
I am down $40 pounds ... I have more to lose, but it has worked out pretty well.
Good luck! If you have any fave recipes's let me know!!

Just an fyi- planetfitness was running a $10 a month special with no contract
otherwise- I like the wii fit, rollar blading, i do yoga tapes and tae bo- try and mix it up. even adding a brisk 30 minute walk at lunch will help a lot

Work out DVDs!!!! You can even rent them from free from the ibrary!
My favorites are Jilliam Michael's 30 Day Shread and all the Biggest Loser workout DVDs.
The TransFIRMer is an awesome DVD collection as well!

But I lost 7.5lbs in 5 weeks so I think I'm doing alright.

I am a member of planet fitness, it is a no frills gym, which is ok with me bc im not that into working out. They have tons of cardio stuff and other weights too but, no classes. There memberships start at $10 a month! Which is a lot cheaper then other gyms. Hope this helps.

Walking is great...but try run every few minutes. The intervals help you lose weight. Also, consider purchasing the 30 Day Shred- its great, along with some hand weights.

So this is totally dated but I stilll think Tae Boe works great-- You can get pilates videos too but I always feel like pilates doesnt exactly burn calories but it is good for toning if you have the time to incorporate both.
Btw you just encouraged me to start going to WW again. I became a lifetime member last year and then ended up gaining a few pounds in teh last year after i stopped going.
I need to get back in shape and start eating right.. the big day is less than 6 months away!!!

I walk abt 3 miles/day. wii fit, roller blading, and use exercise DVD's. AS long as you have at least 30mins of exercise in some form a day you should be okay. When you start to see your weight plateau then add in a little more. Also, once it gets nicer out, I usually go over by the school where there are lots of stairs outside and run up and down them. We used to do this for volleyball so it's something I stuck with.
