Re: Weight Watchers in person vs. Weight watchers on-line????

Weight Watchers on-line worked great for me - once upon a time . My mom was doing it with me though, so that made an impact. You do become VERY aware of what you're eating, which is very good. It's supposed to be the healthiest diet out there. Good luck with it!

Re: Weight Watchers in person vs. Weight watchers on-line????

I did WW online about 3 years ago and lost a ton of weight (some of which I've gained back...grrr). I hate meetings (not just WW meetings, any kind of meetings) so the online option was great for me. I paid for only 4 months, and felt I knew enough about the program that I could continue on my own. They do have message boards on their site which were a great help, too.

Good luck!

I was thinking of doing this too. I'd love to hear more about it from people who used it. Did you use the 'online community' and do you think it was worth it signing up online? Did you actually use it?

Re: Weight Watchers in person vs. Weight watchers on-line????

I wish I had first hand experience but my sister joined about a month ago and lost 7 pounds. She really likes the online b/c she doesn't have to be anywhere for meetings and there is a points calculator. I'm seriously considering after seeing how good she is doing.

Re: Weight Watchers in person vs. Weight watchers on-line????

in person -the meetings are really good- answering to that scale is good

online is hard because you do not get much support and encouragement and different ideas to not eat so much or different low point snacks

Re: Weight Watchers in person vs. Weight watchers on-line????

I joined WW in May of 04 and had lost almost 30 lbs by Oct. For me, the most imortant part was the meetings. So i would recommend them, but it is a personal preference. Doing it online seems like there is more of a chance to cheat...plus you get alot of encouragement and good ideas from the meetings. And trust me, I thought i was going to hate the meetings, but ended up liking them alot. Good luck with it!
