weight watchers questions

so what did you girls do in terms of 'membership'. did you do the monthly pass (better deal I know), the 10 week plan, or just pay by week? what do you think was better for you?? are the etools worth it? can i go with out it?

My bowling is done so no more excuses. I HAVE to join now. I promised lol

I would join on a weekly basis at first, just to see if you like it. If you do, then def go for the monthly. it comes to 10 a week as opposed to 13 plus you get free access to the e-tools. (I should be the last person giving you advice on this though.......I've been paying for a monthly pass and I havent gone for like 2 months !)

i have the monthly pass, i like to use the etools for the points tracker and the weight tracker. I also use the etools to search for points for food items alot instead of using the books or the points calculator. this is the first time that i've ever done WW, i'm doing it with my mom, i've been doing it since the begining of april and have lost 36 pds. it has been the easiest 'diet' that i've done (and i've done them all) and even when i feel like i've had bad weeks they really didn't turn out to be that bad.

Right now I'm just doing it online, but when I was a member... I did the 10 week pass... spending all that money at once made me dedicated to go to the meetings for 10 weeks and once I saw the success after 10 weeks it was easy to stay motivated.

E tools are good because you can look up the point values and journal online which I find helpful. I like typing better than writing out longhand.

Re: weight watchers questions

I just quit WW, I paid for two months but never made it to a meeting. For the past couple of weeks, I have just been trying to find my own way to lose weight and I am down 11 lbs. But who knows I may just start WW again, it's just that with school it's tough to attend the meetings, the nearest site is at a church on the Upper West Side on a Wednesday evening. I need more flexibility!

At first I did the 10 weeks, just to make sure I liked it. Then I paid for the membership. I liked the monthly membership cuz its automatically charged your credit card, so there are no excuses- you already paid you might as well go!

The e-tools are helpful too. But I think the meetings are just as helpful. I just became a lifetime member last week. Now I just have to weigh in once a month and stay within my goal and I'm good.

I joined and then stopped going. For me, it wasn't the best option to loose weight. I joined the gym and meet with a personal trainer once a month for weigh ins and a session. I am really scared of her so its a good motivation tool for me. I've lost 9 pounds so far.

Re: weight watchers questions

I was doing the monthly pass (it's cheaper and the e-tools is really cool). But do pay weekly for the first few visits to see if you like it.

I've been on it since 12/2005 and I'm down 50lbs. I had lost the first 40 but 11/2007 and I've managed to lose the last since.

Best diet I've been on because I'm never left hungry or feeling deprived. So many options. Even when I think I had a bad week it's not that bad because if I hadn't been watching what I ate I would have been a lot worse.

I highly suggest trying WW. I've also learned to eat healthier and made better food choices when dinning out.
