Weight WatchersUGH!!! I am so disgusted with people!
I work in a medical office and a lot of people have been rooting me on with my weight loss. So far I have lost 36 pounds and have another 14 to go. Well, I have been working really hard for 6 months and a stupid patient says to me today, weight watchers my foot, I have never seen you so heavy! and also why are you planning your wedding for 18 months from now you r not getting any older! Iam 31 ! I just had to vent. Nice thing to say to someone huh?

I think that patient was just a very nasty grumpy person. When people are sick, they sometimes take out their frustrations on people and so do people who are miserable in general. Don't let these jerks ruin your happiness. You lost a lot of weight.You are doing great. You go girl!

Some people just have no clue at all, and can be so irritating. But, try not to let other's ignorance and lack of social skills waste your time by frustrating you .. though I know how difficult it can be to just let things slide!
Congrats on your weight loss success, and enjoy your planning!! Your 18 months are going to fly!

That is a horrible thing to say to someone!! What the hell is wrong with people. You have every reason in the world to be proud with your accomplishment, don't let some jerk ruin it for you.

oh gosh, some people just say stupid things, you know how hard youve worked and how good it feels, I envy you, i started weight watchers a few months ago quit and yoyoed with other fad diets and am proabably a few pounds heavier than when i had originally started right now, when i think about how I could look right now if I would have just stuck it out I kick myself, you are inspiring to start up again, thanks and congrats.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! On losing so much weight! I know its hard with the pressure and all but don't let silly people like that get to you. Sometimes I say-jealous people say mean things to others that have what they want! All the best on reaching your goal.

First of all, congratulations on your weight loss! You are amazing! And be proud of yourself for doing it in a tried and true healthy manner with WW.
Now that patient - sometimes miserable people know just the thing to say to get you down. What would I say to a bride who has obviously lost weight if I wanted to be a real jack*ss? I'd say she looked heavy (b/c obviously you do not and have been dieting), and then I'd criticize the wedding somehow. I hope you work in a psychiatrist's office, b/c this patient needs mental help. Please don't let this miserable creep get you down.
