Weird day of wedding/getting dressed situation

sooo....

my FH lives in NJ and I live in BK. Our videographer and photographer wants to simultaneously tape DH and me getting ready but NJ is too far for them to travel since they will be taping me at my house in BK. I will be getting ready at my parents house and it is pretty big. there is a seperate apartment downstairs where FH and the groomsmen can get dressed. Is this a bad idea. I mean i can basically lock them out of the main entrance so that they dont see me, and i honestly dont care where he gets dressed because this is all for video purposes (they have to tape him getting ready and tape him getting to my house with all the groomsmen) and we are taking pictures before the chuppah so its not like i wont see him anyway.

Am i the only one doing this? Im sure I am haha.


The other option is for FH and GMs to get ready at FH's grandparents house but he doesnt want that because they'll drive him crazy (although we love them )

I don't think it's a bad idea. Make sure no peaking is allowed and have scheduled times of when both of you will leave.

yep thats what I am trying to do. I will lock every door that he can possibly get in through although I dont think he will peek anyway, hes not thaat bad

I think it's a GREAT idea to get ready in the same house like that -you know you won't see eachother, so I say go for it! That will even increase the fun level of excitment that you know he's just downstairs!

I dont think its a bad idea at all.. as long as they are locked out!!

I dont think I am getting any pics or videos of the guys getting ready cause they are going to be in nassau and I will be in suffolk.. Oh well.
