Okay, so I'm trying to be unique and personal... Both FH and I LOVE our shih tzu dog and thought we would have a chocolate dog as the favor. Does anyone know where I could buy this? (To be even more cheesy I thought of making the collar/leash our personalized ribbon). TIA!!

Re: Weird Favor Help - Chocolate Dog?
Try doing a google search for chocolate dogs and wedding favors. I was able to pull some stuff up that way.

I went to this chocolate shop in Teaneck, NJ a couple of weeks ago - called Le Chocolat - they can make anything for you and their chocolate is TO DIE FOR!!!! Check 'em out - may be a bit pricey but i'm sure they'll work with you.
Goodluck!

I did, but they were all molds, and at this point I'm up to my neck in DIY projects... I'll be lazy for this

Okay so I'm meeting with her next weekend regarding the favors, I hope she can do it!!!
Other ideas in case she can't? Thanks!

Try the Li-Lac Chocolate shop in Manhattan. I know they have a store in Grand Central Terminal. Their chocolate is excellent and they seem to have some really unusual stuff.

Thanks! Grand Central is right next to my office - I might have to 'taste' the chocoalte to see if I should buy it from them...
Edited to include: Haha, okay I did find a dog on there, but its $8.00 per dog.. I doubt FH would go for that...

I think the ribbon idea isn't cheesy. I like that. I have a half shih tzu/half yorkie at home - so I understand how important dogs are!

We ordered our chocolate seashells from a website and it looks like they do have dogs! Chocolate Fantasies.
They do have other, more--ahem--adult items on here too, so fyi.

I know. Just wanted to alert you, cause you never know how people will react!
In all seriousness though, we could not have been happier with the shells that we got from them. They were gorgeous and absolutely some of the best white chocolate I've ever had.
