weird feelings

does anyone ever feel like some days people are happy about the wedding & some days people can't be bothered with it???


i have never been so excited in my entire life. no matter what i am upset over i can think about the wedding & change my entire mood. but some days when i talk to my mom or sister they make comments like they can't be bother talking about the wedding. i understand that everyone has other things going on but it really puts me down when they say things like that. i have been waiting to get engaged & plan the wedding with FH for 8 years, this is the only wedding i plan on having so i don't understand why people can't pretend to be happy all the time.

i am being selfish by thinking like this???

is the wedding allll u talk about? i find with anything some1 likes.. and they keeeepp talking aotu it..ppl get annoyed.. like ur shoving it downtheir throat.

I think what happens is when you get engaged your thoughts are always on the wedding and it's hurtful when other's aren't always thinking about it as well.....

This happens to me sometimes and FH needs to bring me back down to earth....

Also, who are some of the people you're talking to about it? Are they other girls that aren't married or getting married? I know before FH and I got engaged I was getting really annoyed about people constantly talking about their weddings when I was waiting to be proposed to. What made it worse was that FH and I have been together for 9 years, and there were people together for like a year or two that were getting engaged before we were.

It's petty and it's a jealousy thing, but hey, it happens.

i am extremely private with my life. the only people i talk about wedding things with are my parents & my sister. everyone else has to pull the info out of me.

i don't talk about it all the time. but if i call my mom & i may mention an idea to her & she will just say i can't be bothered with this. but then she will call me the next day & start talking about it.

its super annoying

i talk about it with my mom, dad and brother but i try not to make it be the only thing i talk about with them.....i save only talking about wedding stuff for ou guys! lol
i also find that my friend that are single (not all of them...but some) don't want me talking about it i find them changing the subject quickly.....i don't know if that happens to anyone else....

i feel like that too.... but then again sometimes I dont even feel like talking about it lol, sometimes i just want to forget everything and take the next plane out to vegas, elope, and then party loolol

i havent talked to my family about wedding stuff in weeks!!! they think that we booked CLM. we were planning on booking them, but changed our minds....lol....they are totally clueless and i cant be bothered. its just kinda funny though, cuz they have 4/24 on their calendars (and i think they've told their friends ). Meanwhile, who knows! ughhh. mi familia!!

ugghhh that is annoying...i get that from my mom sometimes...

but im like u, i mainly talk about it alot to just my parents and FH...and the other night at dinner, my dad (joking around so i found out) says 'is this ALL you're going to talk about for the next year and 4 months??'

i kinda flipped LOL i was like 'UR DAMN STRAIGHT I AM SO GET USED TO IT!'

i fi saw something wedding related to my family i get negative comments and they make me cry...therefore i dont speak about it with them...My mother doesnt even know I booked my photog yet...

I can only talk about it on the boards and with certain friends...No one else wants to hear about it...

Well you can talk to all of us about it. We love hearing about it! That's why I love coming on here!!
I don't talk to my parents too much about it unless they ask. My stepmom is coming dress shopping with me so that should be interesting...

Most of my friends and family talk about the wedding more than I do I try to keep all my wedding talk on here and with FH...I dont want to drive anyone crazy with it.
