so i have already have had my shower and alsmost teh entire thing was bought.
i am worried that we might be getting some actual gifts at teh wedding so my question is did any of you update/plan to update your registry before the weddign?

Honestly, we are really hoping most people get us money. We will happily accept gifts but hope most people see since the registry was mostly bought that they can just write a check.

its actually funny that you ask this, bc i was thinking about taking everything that wasn't bought off so no one would get us a gift, i know it sounds so wrong, but honestly, i could really use the money......so to answer your question, yes i will be changing it in the upcoming weeks.

after the shower is over, we are going to leave the registry as is. i am confident in saying that the guest at our wedding will give us monetary gifts & not things off the registry.
however, i have already been told by a couple of family friends who are not invited to the wedding that they will be purchasing us something from the registry after the wedding is over. we are going to just leave whatever is left alone until we get back from the honeymoon. then just purchase the rest of the stuff ourselves.
so i guess no we are not going to be editing our registry between the shower & wedding.

hmm maybe i will do that lol - but honestly the only things that are left are like $5 items so i would hope no one would get us that.
we have a lot of upstaters so who knows what they are thinking

My sister did this when she got married. I don't see anything wrong with doing this.
I will have to see how my registry is by the time my wedding rolls around. If almost everything is bought off, or all the big things are, I will probably delete it as well.

I just had my shower and hope not to get any gifts off there unless its for Christmas! I hope to get all cash for the wedding, but there is still plenty to buy off my registry if guest want to get us a gift! I will most likly be adding things we need on because after our wedding we get 10% off items left on out registry
