OK, so, my sister and I were talking about David Cone the other day and how much we used to ADORE him... and then a friend overheard us and said that Cone was involved in some really nasty, disgusting scandal while on the Mets. She couldn't remember the details. Is this true? What the heck happened?
Thanks!

He was caught having, um, some fun with himself in the bullpen. I believe it was during a game.

I remember a woman claimed she was raped by a few players but I don't think he was one of them. None of the accused players were ever indicted.

That's what I remember and FH said he heard the same as well. I could be wrong, but that would go along with what you were told.

Thanks! I was just curious about what happened (and hoping it wasn't anything too horrible!)
