Well 2 more hours to my shower...

My shower is at 12 ish. Im not suppose to know about it. I over heard my FSIL a LONG time ago telling her aunt the date. Then My Best friend is my maid of honor and my FSIL is my Matron of honor. They are both controling my best friend more then my FSIL. None of them can get along. So everytime there is a fight they call me to biatch. Then they want to know why I know stuff. DUH HELLO..... Today we went to FSIL house and everyone must have asked us like 900 times o what are u doing this weekend. They never ask that. FMIL lives in Florida She doesn't have a job and her WHOLE family lives her even her husband (thats worth a whole other thread) So she has nothing to get back to but she is going back sunday. If i didnt know when it was that would have been a dead give away. She could have at least waited 2 or 3 weeks.?!?!?!?! Today my mom says oh tomorrow is dad and my anniversary do u want to come to lunch with us? She has never asked me to go to lunch no body is shady. My cousin gets all pissed off because apperently the shower was just booked and they didnt find out until they got the invitations They left the given by part blank so why should my cousin pay for a shower since her name isnt on it? Then I find out that its way to much money per person and none of them can afford to pay for it. WELL thanks a whole sh*tLoad that made me felt great. Then My FSIL is all P'Oed because since we got engaged shes been saying she was gonna get us a room at the garden city hotel the wedding night. Well I have an aunt who annoys all of us cause she always has to be better and top every one. She decides to go out and get the honeymoon suit at the Plaza ( I will recieve this tomorrow). What a waste of money. It cost ALOT More then the garden city and its all the way in Manhattan. So the reception ends at 12 by the time we get there it will be way after 1. And how do we get home in the morning UGH... Plus I feel bad for FSIL cause now she has to think of another gift.

I can't wait till its OVER. I know it sounds mean I know I sound rude stuck up conceded but I feel so down. I am So DEPRESSED.

I feel like such an idiot I have to act surprissed and Im not one to be in the center of attention. I feel like such a DORK.... And I checked my Registry and Like maybe 15 things have come off. My guest list was over 60 people where's all the DANG gifts!! No one must be coming. Thanks for letting me Vent.

If it makes you feel better you are probably getting a tun of gifts. My fh's family looks at the registry... but never goes by it!! they buy whatever they like!! lol also alot of times people forget to ask to take it off the registry once it is purchased. or if they bought it last night it takes a little while to be updated

i think you should relax and make the best of it. seriously, people are actually trying to do something for you, be happy about that. i know you are venting, but you sound totally ungrateful, i would try really hard to change your attitude in the next couple of hours. make an effort to unite people at the shower, try to smooth things over between people. you don't want this type of tension to carry over to the big day. generally speaking, the bride and groom set the tone and others follow...

I am sorry that I sound ungreatful But IM NOT. I have been saying this whole time I appreciate what they are doing but they arent being nice to me with all the fighting and bickering and then calling me and telling me about it. This is stuff I shouldnt know about and Stuff I shouldn't be stressed about I have enough stress on my own. Im sorry that I can't change my 'attitude' and I am very afraid that at the time of the wedding they will be at each others throats like they are right now.
