I went to the hair salon ready for my 'transformation'.
I showed the colorist the picture, and she convinced me that I shouldn't dye my hair...she said my natural haircolor was beautiful and I shouldn't cover it up. she suggested I do highlights in the color I wanted to dye it....my friend who was with me jumped on her bandwagon, and I caved under peer pressure.
the end result, while nice, is not too much different than my hair in the summer...I've always had natural highlights...now they are more abundant and I had to pay for them LOL.
I really like the haircut a lot, and I loved the atmosphere of the salon. we'll see what happens next time.
I would have taken pics, but it rained on the way home, ruining the fabulous blow out. I guess it was not a good day for change.
the salon also gave complimentary make up touch ups, which was a great touch. dh was actually most impressed with the make up application (which was of course free LOL). I think we both thought the hair would be a bit more drastic...

I forgot to add my lame-O celeb sighting.
I am a What Not to Wear whore, and Nick Arrojo talked to me AND touched me AND said my hair looked beautiful. of course, I couldn't afford to let HIM cut it ($400 a pop! ) but..,. I was in full view of him the whole time..which has to count for something!
sidenote_ Nick literally charges $400 per cut...and I saw TWO men getting their hair cut by him...two SHORT HAIRED men...why..or why...???
