My wonderful bridal party and mother threw me the best bridal shower in the world. As you may remember, my wedding theme is 1940's Old Hollywood - and boy, was I the STAR!
It was held at the 7th Street Cafe in Garden City. The food was delish - I had the veal and the penne vodka and the waiters were cute and funny! The details that my mom and bridal party did (especially Trish - sfp0214) really made it such a special day. They did bridal bingo with great prizes and people had to answer questions about how well they knew me... some hard, some very funny!
I can't believe I am a BRIDE!
The Red Carpet:
Pictures of the centerpiece - had pearls, gloves, confetti, top hats and canes, tickets and clapboards in a martini glass!
Each table was named after a movie star from the 40's - and there were cute cut-outs of them!

I've added a few more pics and thought I'd add some reflections!
I'm hearing from all my relatives that I was a riot. I got a 'Mr. Wonderful' frame and I was making up all own phrases such as; 'No, honey, I don't have to go to FireHouse tonight.' 'You don't have to cook at all, Lisa'
I also got a beautiful Giuseppe Armani figurine from my cousin - she got me started on these beautiful statues...and I said, 'It looks just like us... all slim and beautiful'... Hahah
The waiters were awesome there and made us a 'high octane' punch... I got a tiny bit tipsy and dropped one present - luckily it was wood bowls.
Overall, the most perfect day! Girls, get excited...yours are coming!
