Well, it didn't rain today...

But I had SHOWERS of happiness!

My wonderful bridal party and mother threw me the best bridal shower in the world. As you may remember, my wedding theme is 1940's Old Hollywood - and boy, was I the STAR!

It was held at the 7th Street Cafe in Garden City. The food was delish - I had the veal and the penne vodka and the waiters were cute and funny! The details that my mom and bridal party did (especially Trish - sfp0214) really made it such a special day. They did bridal bingo with great prizes and people had to answer questions about how well they knew me... some hard, some very funny!

I can't believe I am a BRIDE!

The Red Carpet:

Pictures of the centerpiece - had pearls, gloves, confetti, top hats and canes, tickets and clapboards in a martini glass!

Each table was named after a movie star from the 40's - and there were cute cut-outs of them!

My 'PlayBill' Menu (had my photo on it), listed with my 'Cast' of Bridesmaids. And one of two favors (a rose candle) and a sterling silver mirror.

Love you Lisa. I have to tell you though.. 50% of those pictures showed up as 'X''s.. I hate that.

Well It was an honour to throw a shower for such a wonderful person. We had so much fun planning it.

Sorry my speech stunk. I will try harder at the wedding You know I am no good at public speaking.. I am only good at the regualar speaking!

Seriously though it was such a wonderful day and I am so glad that you enjoyed it. It was a pleasure to plan. I really hope you loved it all.
