What I'd like to say if I wasn't nice!!!!! Hello!!!!!! You RSVP'ed you were coming to Donna's Wedding, and now all of a sudden you have company coming, so you can only attend the ceremony????!!!!! Ok, this is what your response should have been..... I'm really sorry, company, I'd love to see you, but I'm attending a wedding that day!!!!!! Donna is really disappointed!!!!! About 30 people are not coming, but she's now going to invite some co-workers. Mary MOB

You tell em Mary!!! haha! You are sooo right!! i agree! I've never heard of someone cancelling because of company. You tell them you have plans. Some people are odd!!!

I just don't understand why people nowdays would not go to a Wedding, unless they're sick, dying, or don't have the physical means to get there!!!! I always thought it an honor to be invited to a wedding!!!!!! Mary MOB

Well because I'm a VERY honest person I'll say this. I USED to find weddings to be boring And more of an obligation rather than a party and celebration. Now that I am planning my own and everything is all about wedding for me... I TOTALLY see it differently. Also, I never really had any friends get married... it was usually more coworkers or family friends of FH family or FH family friends. So I never REALLY let loose and just had a great time. Now that I see it more as a party and celebration... the last 2 weddings I went to were phenominal and oh sooo much fun!! Now I just love them. Who doesn't love a party with (usually) an open bar!!! And lots of people all dressed up looking so pretty! And of course celebrating a very important day with special people who wanted me there. I just never looked at it like that before. So maybe this person is thinking of it the same way I used to think of it?? Even still... I wouldn't of cancelled after RSPing Yes because someone wanted to come over. Even in my wedding grinch days.... I wouldn't have done that.
