I didn't order any supplies yet but after calculating even with my major discounts (free printing too) - all custom designed by me
Pocket fold invites w/ the following: Envelope return and addressed, invite, invite backer, repsonse card and envelope (self addressed), hotel card and direction card, seal and band for pocket fold.
Menu's (one per couple) Table numbers (should only have 10 but made 14) Seating cards Programs (one per couple) Signs (about 4 signs) of 8.50 x 11
For a total of 160 guests (80 couples) - currently have 145 on my list so I may take some extras off to save cash.
Approx. $335.00
Am I being nuts spending that much????? I didn't think it was going to even be more then $150.00 but after I just got the envelopes and figured out how much the pearlescent paper would be since we changed it from a flat stock I am having sticker shock.
Please tell me I am not nuts spending that much cash on invites!!!!

Just curious, what kinda signs are you making??
I don't think the price is too bad at all considering how much you are doing. Invitations alone are on average around $150-$200 (which is on the less expensive side I think).

i think that is a great price! just my invitations alone without anything like the bands or seals or printing has cost me about $350 so I think you did really good!

Nothing major just a sign in sign to explain what to do since i have a odd sign in 'book', a sign to inform guests that one bag per couple favor (nicely said though), a sign to inform guests that the programs are one per couple (nicely said) and I think the weddign of .. us sign which I may do seperately on treated paper and made to look like a old map of ireland or soemthing like that... looking into that.
I mean I looked at the albums of invitations we sell here and see the prices so I think Oh your not doing that bad.. but then I am like eeeks it should be cheaper since I work at a print shop. Its mostly the paper costs that is effecting it. I can't get a discount on pocket folds and to make them is impossible since I can not find that stock in large parent stock anywhere.

ditto - for the amount you are getting - GREAT price.
it's justified in my book but if you're uncomfortable spending that amount, don't.

Thank you all - I just wanted to make sure I was not insane. Doing two color inprinting so now after looking over the books again for wedding invites - yes i am getting a good deal! WOW man reality check on my behalf.
My only problem since the printing is free - i have to wait till a free day on press. Which so far has been not happening. Artwork is just sitting here but I am doing all the paper ordering now and I pray its done by next month because its going to take a long time for me to put this all together.
THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME! Now I don't feel so guilty.
I forgot to mention that price also included the boxes for my OOT guests (gable with a grape inprint green on natural cardboard) and labels).

Hehehe that part i was proud of .. yes but other then that I really thought i was getting taken but now i realize its a good price.
