went dress shopping today w/pics

They're both really pretty!

I love the first one too, but listen to the other ladies. Definitely process it a few weeks. I'm beginning to think I rushed into my decision, and that my dress (very similar to number 1), isn't 'bride-y' enough. I'm rationalizing it though that a dress like number 2 isn't me, and it wouldn't seem natural or right if I wore something like that. It really depends on the kind of girl you are. If you feel like something like number 2 would be comfortable and right on you, definitely don't discount it just yet, take a few weeks, and come back to it.

I totaly agree with ur feeling on the not bride-y enough thats the main reason i keep re-thinking it to.. i always pictured myself in a long train n all that but once i saw myself in the 1st dress i all ofasudden didnt care about how long the train was. I mean i look realy young and i thought i was going to look silly in a wedding dress but when i put that one on it was like wow i look mature! ya know.. err i am going to wait then next week go to davids bridal n try on more but something tells me im going to end up back at paradise lol we shall see!!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell in LOVE with the first one online and started calling places to see if they had the sample and one place told me it was discontinued!!!!!!!!!! can they still order it if its discontinued?? i want to try this dress on!

I LOOVE the first dress, it is gorgeous.

I know how it can be hard when you're deciding between 2 dresses, i went through the same thing. One problem is that for months before i actually went dress shopping, i looked online at dresses, there was ONLY 1 dress i saw that i loved, so when i went dress shopping i had to try it on. They also brought out a dress i hadnt seen online and LOVED it, but the other dress i had loved for so many months that it was hard to say no to it hahaha. One thing that helped me decide was by not just looking at how the dress looked but also how it looked on me. You have to pick a dress that flatters you best, bc this will make the dress look better. So which one fit you best? for me although i loved 2 of them, i realized that one flattered my body alot more than the other one. Also when they bustled the dress i had seen online, i wasnt crazy how it made the dress look in the front, it had beading going down the sides by the hips and once bustled didnt like how it looked. So do a process of elimination by seeing which one flattered your body, which one you felt more comfortable in, remember you have to wear it for MANY hours, i had mine on for about 12-14 hours.

i agree with the other girls give it a little time to process so you can vision yourself in it and if you took pics in them def look at them a few times to make sure you love it. I made the same mistake a lot of girls make..... buying a dress because it's what i thought i wanted then after looking at pics in the right size i absolutly HATED IT.

I had three very different dresses that I loved and the consultant said to me- think about what kind of wedding you want, the dress sets the tone of the day.

There was this princess style one (that I never expected to like) and then a simple classic and she just had me close my eyes and think about the tone of the wedding. I went with the simple classic over the fairy tale and went on planning the rest from there!

I could not be happier with my decision!
