I brought the hairstylist pictures and she mostly did what was in the pictures. My thoughts are that maybe I don't have enough hair for what I want it to look like, or maybe the shape of my face is wrong, but I just don't know. It didn't feel like ME.
The hairstylist and makeup artist were really sweet.

I think you look beautiful! Maybe its just that you're not used to seeing yourself all done up. But your hair is beautiful as well as your make-up.

Love the make-up you look adorable. Maybe with the hair, its the side bangs. Bangs can totally change the look of shape of the face. It looks fine to me, but I don't really know you, so I'm not sure what look you're going for.

i agree...
i think you may want more of a poof on top to compliment the roundness of your face. i have the opposite scenario where my face is rather long, and i have no clue what hairstyle would look best on me.
as for it not being 'you', that is what would concern me the most. my approach when it comes to trials will be not go tooooo drastic from what i normally do so i feel comfortable.
what about a 1/2 up 1/2 down style?

You look SO pretty .. I love it!
But of course YOU have to feel comfortable with the way you look, and sometimes brides-2-be shoot for a look that they like on someone else, on a picture of a model, and its not right for themselves.
Like some of the other girls said, maybe you'd want to try a 1/2 up 1/2 down look? I know at my trial I'm going to try both just to give myself the choice. Or mabye your hair pulled straight back as opposed to the side bangs, etc. Maybe you just have to play around with it a bit..

Have you considered extensions for the day? That could help solve (what you see as) your problem.

I think your make-up looks great. The hair looks good too, but I think the hair might be too high on top. I think if it was lowered a little, it would look really good. I had my hair done as a BM one time, and it was up really high like yours, and I wasn't happy with that.

may be nice for you if you want hair off your face...
I love Kate Winslet - she's amazing. But I think I want something up top, even if not THAT high.
I also had another trial scheduled with another Hair/makeup person, but it was cancelled last minute due to health issues (on her end).
I tried to reschedule, but she didn't answer calls or emails for a week, during which other brides posted on here about having trials with her. She finally emailed me, saying she was out of town.
