Okay, I went for a hair and make up trial last night. I loved the makeup, but I'm not sure what it is about the hair that isn't quite right.
Help!!!

I also had another trial scheduled with another Hair/makeup person, but it was cancelled last minute due to health issues (on her end).
I tried to reschedule, but she didn't answer calls or emails for a week, during which other brides posted on here about having trials with her. She finally emailed me, saying she was out of town.
Would you reschedule with her?
Hmm.. if she is the same hair/makeup person that some other people have had some last minute 'cancellations' with lately , then I'd be hesitant to reschedule. There are a lot of other good vendors on the boards, and elsewhere. Find the one you feel comfortable with!

Here's what I think:
1. I think you look really pretty
2. I think the 'problem' might be that the side part is too much to the side. If you notice your natural side part is a bit closer to the middle of your head so you're probably used to that and might feel more comfortable if you move the part over just a tad. You can keep the hairstyle, just play with the way it frames your face. Maybe even consider some loose tendrils.
3. I don't think your hair would do half up/half down well without extensions... it looks a little too fine to me.
But you look beautiful anyway, you just have to feel comfortable.

What about the same style, but instead of big wide, loopy curls like you have, smaller, tighter, but not pined down curls on the top of your head?

It wasn't Elena who was cancelling on me. I have no plans to even contact her!
I think I am going to go for something similar but not as much height.

I think this may look nice on you as well (I am doing my own research now and collecting a bunch of photos) but it is a different, 'more messy' style...
You look beautiful! I agree with you, something similar with not as much height would look great! Maybe with the curls more towards the back of your head.

I think you look wonderful. But you have to like how you look. You have to be comfortable with it. IMO...you look radiant

can you go back and have her try different styles? and take pics of all so you can decide?
i like it but if it's not what you are comfortable with then you should go back and have her do some other styles.
