Went for my girls dresses today!

Finally the time has come!
We went to Here comes the bridesmaids in Lake Success. A small, personalized type place, you need an appointment to shop there.

The dresses are by Jim Hjelm, Here's what I chose. Every girl will be in a different dress. I let them choose what they felt most comfortable in.

The maid of honor will be in a darker dress.
The colors I chose were PASSION FLOWER (darker purple) for MOH and LILLY (lighter purple) for the girls. All in the material Soft Satin.

I still have 2 more BM to fit. One lives in California so she will pick online & try on near her, and the other couldn't come today so it's next week back we go.

This made the whole wedding thing feel so much more real!

(Remember these dresses will all be in the SAME color & fabric)

Jenn-the dresses are gorgeous! I don't know what i'm going to do for BM dresses. I am having 6 girls and almost each one has a different request/need (short sleeves, no sleeves, A-line, slim skirt) so it's driving me nuts just thinking about. Plus 2 are from out of state-AHHH

I love the dresses, I am also using Jim Hjelm for my MOH and BMs. They have such beautiful styles and materials to chosse from.

Thanks for the compliments ladies!

dani, do what i did. go to a store that has different dresses by the same designer. The out of state girls can look online & order at a location near them.

My girls are wearing the 3rd dress. We got ours through netbride.com
It's awesome.
So flattering.
I love how you're doing different shades of purple. I think it'll look beautiful!

I love those colors (esp the MOH color) and the colors look great in pictures. The dresses look great...very elegant and sexy!

(I also did the different BM dresses by same mfg but all same color and material....I thought it looked great. When I get a good picture I will post it when I do my wedding review!)

I love Jim Hjelm dresses! They all look great! Would you mind telling me what the prices are like at Here Comes the Bridesmaid? I'm thinking of going to the one in the city. Thanks!
